French Cafe!!/ At a meet up! ~.~

(^-^*)/おはよう!!
I am in an especially giddy mood today so prepare your selves for PLENTY OF EMOTICONS!! .... Consider your self warned. 「(゚ペ)

Here is my summary of French cafe and two different coords that aren't all that different but, never the less, I like both. ヘ( ̄ー ̄)ノ

We ate at a vegan cafe and had some yummy pasta with marinara AND pesto sauce topped with broccoli and sunflower seeds!

Me ( on left) with some new lolita friends, nomming some food in the pasta category.

Any who, enough meet up adventures. Time for the dress!!!

French cafe Jsk in Pink :

I opened the packaging around this dress to reveal a very hot pink. I hate hot pink. Sakura pink is nice. Hot pink is the bane of my existence!  But hark! I did not loose hope!! No EGL comm sales for this dress! Optimism kicked in and I decided to give the poor JSK a chance!

Things to do if you dont like the color of the dress because, for some reason, you thought the color would be... different:
1.) Emphasize the other colors in the coord! I mainly used red for my accessories and a touch of gold with a rocking horse broach (that you can kinda see in these shots) and it helped a ton! I actually fell in love with the color! This was a valentines meet up after all!

2.) Layer it! There is ALWAYS a color that could complement the ugly color well and make the loud, tacky, or dreary color provide a nice contrast. If you don't like a gray piece or a gold piece, add blue! For gold, a calmer blue and maybe for gray, a more vivacious blue might make your fix!

3.) EGL sales.... That is all basically. Either you can coord it well or sell it. Unfortunately, its the truth. --.--

Moral of story: Know the dress before you buy it!! .... Lesson learned.

My camera depicts a lovely coral color, but rest assured that it is hot pink. (^-^*)

I was feeling slightly artsy. ( ´ ▽ ` )

Zhe lace!  ^o^
This is ACTUALLY the best part of the dress (arguably). Upon seeing this, I was literally gawking at the magnificence after have fallen on the floor out of awe. Can you tell this is my first AP dress? ... but I am one to love things like this...
Here lies a crappy picture of the bodice. R.I.P. x__x (this is another favorite part of this dress!!)

Bodice ~.~

Some lovely print shots! The print looks very realistic!! I just want to pick up the forks and knives and eat with them!!

Various pictures in the domain of lace!!

 Back!

Vampire Requiem

Top of the morning to you,
I thought I would start out my first post with, not so much of a review, but a summary of my new Vampire Requiem Jsk in Navy by Alice and the Pirates! This is my favorite brand though I will more than likely say this about more than one brand. Granted, some day I should choose a favorite brand but today is most certainly not that day.
Coord Shot! You cant see my shoes or black lace tights... but those shall come later!

Next order of business!!
The Dress:
Excuse my blanket that I frantically draped in a crinkled manner and just the same, my plaid skirt that I am wearing visibly in the bottom right corner of the photon documentation. I go to private school. ^o^
The colors are simply glowing and beaming. Unfortunately, like always, cameras and computers don't recreate this beauty on out retina. Imagine a lapis lazuli blue with vibrant black and plum.

Lace!! ~.~
Its like a rose chandelier!!

I shall post the rest of the pictures later. My focus was off.
